Kelsey and Dave drove down from Milwaukee to spend New Year’s with us, and Mom and Dad flew in from Montana. They were only here for a few days, but we had so much fun being together.

We went to the Root Beer Saloon, only to find out that it was closed! Oh well, we got some fun pictures together.
Later that day we went to the mall, scoped out Dillard’s for the New Year’s Sale, and Mckenna got to play on the “rides”, wearing her absolute favorite dress and shoes.
We had 17th Street Barbecue for dinner – delicious.
And went back to Bob and Jill’s to ring in the New Year!

It was so good to see some of my family again and how grateful I was that they made the effort to come and visit us in Carbondale. Here’s to a New Year… wonder what adventures will await.
